1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Hephaestus Handiwork website (forge@hephaestushandiwork.com) and our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site and our services.

2. Services Provided

Hephaestus Handiwork provides a range of home services including general home repairs, minor plumbing fixes, electrical troubleshooting, carpentry work, painting, drywall repair, furniture assembly, deck maintenance, and pressure washing. All services are subject to availability and our assessment of the scope of work required. We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason at our discretion.

3. Estimates and Pricing

We provide free estimates for all services. These estimates are based on the information provided by the client and our initial assessment. The final cost may vary if unforeseen issues arise or if the scope of work changes. Any changes to the estimated cost will be communicated to the client and approved before proceeding with the work.

4. Scheduling and Cancellation

Appointments can be scheduled via phone at (404) 555-0123 or email at forge@hephaestushandiwork.com. We kindly request at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

5. Payment Terms

Payment for services rendered is due upon completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept various payment methods including credit cards, debit cards, and checks. Late payments may incur additional charges. For large projects, a deposit may be required upfront.

6. Warranty and Guarantees

Hephaestus Handiwork stands by the quality of our craftsmanship. We offer a limited warranty on our labor for a specified period (typically 30-90 days, depending on the service) from the date of completion. This warranty covers defects in workmanship. It does not cover problems caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, improper maintenance, or materials supplied by the client.

7. Limitation of Liability

Hephaestus Handiwork will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the services; or (c) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content.

8. Intellectual Property

The content, features, and functionality of the Hephaestus Handiwork website are and will remain the exclusive property of Hephaestus Handiwork and its licensors. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of Hephaestus Handiwork.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
